Water Reminder helps you track hydration on Android phones, tablets, and Wear OS. This policy describes how we handle information.

Data we store on your device

  • Hydration log entries (amount, drink type, time, optional note)
  • Profile settings (daily goal, units, wake/sleep reminder window, favorite cups)
  • Reminder preferences
  • Achievement unlocks

This data stays on your device unless you choose to share a report via the system share sheet, or you enable Health Connect sync.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version may show banner ads on History and Stats via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, IP-based approximate location, and device/app info as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent where required.

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app stability and usage (crash stacks, device model/OS, anonymous app events). See Firebase / Google Privacy.

Health Connect

If you enable Health Connect sync, hydration records may be written to or read from Health Connect. You control permissions in system settings.

Wear OS sync

When paired, the phone and watch exchange hydration totals and reminder settings over Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer.

Reports

PDF/CSV exports are generated locally and shared only when you use the Android share sheet.

Permissions

  • Notifications — hydration reminders
  • Exact alarms — timely reminders (with fallback if denied)
  • Boot completed — restore reminders after reboot
  • Internet / network state — ads, consent, Analytics/Crashlytics
  • Health Connect hydration read/write — optional

Data deletion

Hydration logs on your device can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling. Advertising identifiers can be reset in Android settings. To request deletion of data processed by our third-party services, email papatechsolution@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. This page always has the latest version.
